Bodegas Cepa 21 Horcajo 2020 is the estate’s flagship wine, made entirely from Tempranillo grown on a single parcel of selected old vines. Hand-harvested and aged for 18 months in new French oak, it reflects a serious, polished style rooted in the traditions of Castilla y León.

Makuprofiili
Horcajo 2020 shows deep colour in the glass, hinting at its concentration and structure. The nose is layered and expressive, with ripe blackberry, liquorice, cedar and a distinct graphite edge. On the palate, it is powerful yet refined, with firm but ripe tannins, impressive depth and a long, elegant finish. The balance achieved in the 2020 vintage gives the wine both immediate complexity and the structure to develop beautifully over the next 10–15 years.

Viininvalmistus
This wine comes from a single parcel of old Tempranillo vines in Castilla y León, where a relatively dry 2020 growing season was tempered by a cooler September that helped bring the grapes to balanced phenolic ripeness. The fruit is hand-harvested, then vinified with extended skin contact to build colour, texture and concentration before spending 18 months in new French oak barrels.

Ideal with rich meat dishes, game, roasted lamb or braised beef, Horcajo 2020 calls for hearty, flavourful food. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and decanting for at least 1–2 hours is recommended to help the wine open up and show its full aromatic complexity.
