Ca’ dei Frati Lugana Privilegio di Famiglia Brolettino 2020 is a refined and expressive white wine from the southern shores of Lake Garda, made entirely from Turbiana, the local name for Trebbiano di Lugana. Partially aged in stainless steel and barriques, it combines richness, freshness, and elegance in a style that reflects both the character of the terroir and the winery’s long-standing expertise.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a bright, luminous straw-yellow colour with depth and clarity. The bouquet is generous and layered, offering ripe peach, yellow apple, and other mature fruit aromas, lifted by fresh, balsamic hints that add definition and complexity. On the palate, the wine makes a decisive first impression while remaining remarkably fresh and elegant. It has a full, well-rounded structure supported by crisp acidity and a distinctly savoury profile that cleanses the palate and leaves delicate aromatic traces behind. Thanks to its structure and bottle age, it has excellent aging potential and can continue to develop further nuance over time.

Viininvalmistus
This wine comes from vineyards near Lake Garda, in one of Lombardy’s most celebrated white-wine areas, where vines have been cultivated since 1782. The grapes are harvested at full ripeness, typically around mid-October, to capture both concentration and balance. Vinification is split between stainless steel and barriques, with aging for 7-8 months in barriques followed by a long period of refinement in bottle.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Ca’ dei Frati Brolettino pairs beautifully with richer seafood dishes, roasted poultry, white meats, creamy risottos, and mature cheeses. Serve it slightly chilled at around 10-12°C to best appreciate its depth and freshness. Decanting is not essential, but a short aeration can help open up the wine’s aromatic complexity, especially in its youth.
