Deutz Amour de Deutz Rosé 2008

Deutz Amour de Deutz Rosé 2008 is a refined prestige Champagne from one of the most respected houses in the region. Made exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards and enhanced with a small proportion of still red Pinot Noir, it combines precision, complexity, and elegance in a style that reflects both Champagne tradition and Deutz’s hallmark finesse.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a delicate pale rosé hue with a luminous, fine-bubbled mousse. The nose is highly expressive and layered, offering wild strawberries, raspberries, and cherries, followed by subtle hints of wild mushrooms, rye bread, and vanilla. The palate is vivid and concentrated, echoing the red berry profile with notes of wild strawberry, redcurrant, and fresh light cherry. There is excellent tension and balance, with bright acidity supporting the fruit through a long, persistent finish. This is a Champagne with impressive depth and the structure to evolve gracefully over time.

Viininvalmistus
Amour de Deutz Rosé is crafted from grapes sourced only from Grand Cru villages, with Pinot Noir primarily selected from Aÿ, Verzenay, and Bouzy, and Chardonnay from Avize, Chouilly, and Villers-Marmery. The rosé style is achieved by adding 8% Pinot Noir vinified as red wine, sourced from old-vine parcels in Aÿ and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, including La Pelle, Curmain, and Charmont. This traditional Champagne method is used to give the wine its distinctive pale pink colour and added aromatic complexity.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Serve this Champagne well chilled, ideally at 8-10°C, to preserve its finesse and aromatic detail. It pairs beautifully with dishes such as lobster, tuna tartare, duck breast, veal carpaccio, or strawberry-based desserts, as well as aged hard cheeses. Decanting is not recommended; instead, allow a few minutes in the glass for the wine to open gradually.
