The wine shows a bright, elegant ruby-red colour in the glass. On the nose, it opens with lifted aromas of red berries such as strawberry, raspberry, and cherry, layered with floral nuances and a subtle graphite-like mineral edge that gives it a distinctly Loire character. The palate is silky, fresh, and lively, with clean berry fruit, a touch of spice, and a precise acidity that keeps everything energetic and balanced. Tannins are present but fine-grained, giving the wine shape without heaviness. While it can be enjoyed young for its freshness and charm, it also has the structure to develop gracefully over the next few years.

This Sancerre Rouge pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, duck breast, grilled salmon, charcuterie, mushroom dishes, and soft cheeses such as Brie or Camembert. Serve it slightly cool, ideally around 14–16°C, to highlight its freshness and aromatic lift. Decanting is not essential, but a short decant can help the wine open up if enjoyed soon after opening.
