Famille Hugel Alsace Riesling Classic 2024 is a dry, expressive white wine that captures the precision and elegance of Alsace Riesling. Produced by the historic Hugel & Fils estate, founded in 1639, it reflects centuries of family expertise, with a focus on purity, freshness, and classic regional style.

Makuprofiili
Pale yellow in the glass with greenish reflections, this Riesling looks bright and vibrant from the start. The nose opens with lively fruit aromas of lime and kiwi, lifted by subtle mineral notes that give the wine a distinctly Alsatian feel. On the palate, it is well-structured, crisp, and refreshingly dry, with a clean, focused finish. The balance of fruit and minerality makes it approachable now, while its firm backbone suggests it can also develop nicely over the next few years.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes are harvested and handled with great care, using small press tanks filled by gravity to avoid pumping or unnecessary mechanical stress. After pressing, the must is settled for a few hours before fermentation in barrels or vats under controlled temperatures of 18–24°C. The wine is racked only once, then allowed to clarify naturally over winter before a light filtration and bottling, after which it rests in the cellars until release.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This dry Riesling pairs beautifully with seafood, shellfish, sushi, grilled white fish, poultry, and classic Alsatian dishes such as tarte flambée or choucroute. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is generally unnecessary unless you want to give it a little extra air before serving.
