Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Spätburgunder shows the kind of vibrant, translucent ruby tone typical of top Pinot Noir. The nose is beautifully layered, opening with wild strawberries, cherry, bitter mandarin, and pomegranate, followed by violet, truffle, pepper, and a subtle touch of coffee. On the palate, it is intense yet elegant, with juicy red-fruit purity wrapped in a fresh, finely etched structure. The oak influence is present but restrained, allowing the fruit and mineral-driven character to remain front and center. It has the balance and concentration to develop nicely over the coming years, gaining more savory depth and complexity with bottle age.

Viininvalmistus
The wine comes from the kalksten-rich Brunnenhäuschen site in Rheinhessen, where the limestone soils help shape the wine’s freshness, finesse, and mineral precision. The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand, ensuring only the best fruit reaches the cellar. After pressing, fermentation takes place in oak barrels, which are also used for maturation, with a relatively small proportion of new oak so the fruit remains expressive and unhindered.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a versatile and food-friendly Pinot Noir that works beautifully with roast duck, quail, mushroom risotto, veal, or herb-roasted poultry, as well as dishes featuring truffle or earthy root vegetables. Serve it slightly cool, ideally around 14–16°C, and consider a short decant if opening young to let its aromatics fully unfold.
