In the glass, this wine shows a deep garnet-red colour that hints at its concentration and maturity. The bouquet is layered and inviting, with aromas of ripe dark cherry, blackcurrant, and raspberry, followed by notes of forest floor, gentle spice, and a touch of toasted oak. On the palate, it is balanced and harmonious, combining juicy red berry fruit with fine tannins and a fresh line of acidity. There is a delicate mineral edge that adds precision and length to the finish. Drinking beautifully now, it should also reward a few more years of cellaring as the flavours gain even more complexity and softness.
