In the glass, this Brunello typically shows a brilliant ruby-garnet color, reflecting both its youth and its classically styled profile. The nose is refined and layered, with notes of sour cherry, wild berries, rose petals, dried herbs, and subtle earthy spice, all carried by a cool, mineral edge. On the palate, it is vibrant and focused, with firm but polished tannins, bright acidity, and flavors of red cherry, pomegranate, tobacco, and forest floor. The wine’s high-altitude origin brings lift and freshness, while its structure suggests excellent ageing potential over the coming decade and beyond, where it will gain further complexity and harmony.

Harvesting is typically done by hand to select healthy, ripe fruit, and vinification aims to respect the character of the vineyard rather than overwhelm it, with careful fermentation and ageing designed to highlight finesse, structure, and site expression.

This wine is a natural partner for Tuscan dishes such as bistecca alla fiorentina, slow-braised beef, wild boar ragù, roasted lamb, and aged hard cheeses like Pecorino. Serve it at around 16–18°C to allow its aromatics and texture to fully open. Decanting is recommended, especially in its youth, to soften the tannins and reveal the wine’s layered bouquet.
