R. López de Heredia Viña Bosconia Reserva 2013 is a beautifully traditional Rioja red from one of Spain’s most iconic historic wineries. Crafted from a classic blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Carignan, and aged in oak for years before release, it offers the depth, complexity, and elegance that have made López de Heredia a benchmark name for generations.

In the glass, this Reserva shows a deep ruby color with a gentle brick-toned edge, hinting at its development in bottle. The nose is layered and expressive, with aromas of ripe red berries, spice, vanilla, tobacco, leather, and a subtle earthy complexity. On the palate, it is balanced and refined, opening with red fruit, warming spice, and a touch of mocha, supported by soft, fully integrated tannins. The finish is long, polished, and lingering, with the kind of savory detail that rewards slow drinking. Thanks to its traditional winemaking and extended maturation, this wine has the structure and harmony to continue evolving gracefully over time.

Viininvalmistus
Viña Bosconia Reserva 2013 comes from Rioja, where López de Heredia is known for preserving a highly traditional approach to winemaking. The grapes are sourced from estate vineyards in the region and harvested with care to preserve freshness and balance. Fermentation and aging follow classic methods, including around five years in American oak barrels before further bottle maturation, allowing the wine to develop its signature nuance, texture, and complexity.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is an excellent partner for richer dishes such as grilled meats, roast lamb, game, and mature cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C to bring out its layered aromatics and supple structure. Decanting is recommended, especially if served young, to help the wine open up fully and show its depth.
