Son Prim Esblanc 2023 is a lively and characterful Chardonnay from Mallorca, offering a more distinctive island expression than the usual international style. Crafted by winemaker Jaume Llabrés from old vines in small vineyard holdings, it stands out for its purity, freshness, and unmistakable local charm. The use of stainless steel keeps the focus squarely on the fruit, letting the wine’s natural personality shine through.

In the glass, it shows a straw-yellow color that hints at its bright, youthful energy. The nose is expressive and aromatic, with notes of peach, grapefruit, orange, white flowers, and a touch of honey. On the palate, those same flavors come through with impressive clarity, lifted by fresh acidity and a subtle, almost teasing hint of sweetness on the finish. This is a wine built for immediate enjoyment, though its balance and concentration should give it a little room to develop over the short to medium term. This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with grilled seafood, roast chicken, creamy pasta dishes, shellfish, and fresh Mediterranean cuisine. Serve it well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C. Decanting is not necessary.
