Son Prim Maria José 2022 is a charming Chardonnay from Mallorca that balances richness and elegance with real precision. Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a beautiful pale golden-yellow hue. The nose is generous yet refined, opening with floral notes alongside fresh hazelnut and vanilla. On the palate, it feels full-bodied and slightly buttery, with flavors of pear and peach lifted by hints of spice and hazelnut. The 8 months spent in French oak bring a rounded texture and a subtle framework of youthful tannins, adding length and definition to the wine’s finish. Well balanced and expressive, this Chardonnay should also hold nicely over the next few years if stored properly.

Produced from Chardonnay grapes grown in Mallorca, Son Prim Maria José 2022 reflects the island’s Mediterranean character while showing the influence of French oak maturation. The wine was aged for 8 months in French oak barrels, which helped shape its creamy texture, spice notes, and rounded structure, while preserving freshness and varietal clarity.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with roast chicken, creamy seafood dishes, grilled prawns, rich fish like turbot or sea bass, and mushroom risotto. Serve it chilled at around 10-12°C, and decanting is not necessary, though a brief aeration can help open up its aromatic complexity if served very young.
