Valduero White Albillo 2023

Valduero White Albillo 2023 is a rare and expressive white wine from Ribera del Duero, made from the native Albillo grape and crafted by Bodegas Valduero with a strong focus on quality and terroir. Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a bright golden color with subtle green highlights. The nose is elegant and aromatic, with notes of white flowers, fresh stone fruit, citrus, and a delicate toasted edge from its time in oak. On the palate, the wine is creamy and generous yet keeps a lively freshness throughout. A clear mineral backbone supports the fruit, while the finish is long, balanced, and harmonious. Thanks to its structure and subtle oak influence, it has the potential to develop well over the next few years.

Viininvalmistus
The wine comes from old Albillo vines grown in the high-altitude vineyards of Ribera del Duero, where warm days and cool nights help preserve freshness while allowing the grapes to ripen fully. The fruit is hand-harvested to ensure careful selection, then gently pressed and fermented under temperature control. A short period of aging in oak barrels adds depth, texture, and complexity without overpowering the varietal character.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs beautifully with roast chicken, grilled seafood, creamy pasta, risotto, and dishes with mild sauces or white truffle. Serve chilled at around 10–12°C. Decanting is not necessary, but a brief aeration can help open up its aromatic profile.
