Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a lovely golden hue that hints at richness and ripeness. The nose is expressive and layered, with mirabelle, mango, citrus, apple, white currant, and a delicate herbal lift. On the palate, it is impressively complex, moving seamlessly between gentle sweetness and vibrant acidity before finishing dry, fruit-forward, and remarkably long. Despite its approachable feinherb style, this is a Riesling with real structure and precision. The balance suggests excellent aging potential, and the wine should develop beautifully over the next decade or more, gaining even more nuance and depth with time.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from old Riesling vines rooted in the steep, slate-rich slopes of Zellerberg and Blattenberg in Mosel, where the mineral soils and cool climate help preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. Vineyard work is carried out largely by hand, as the extreme slopes make mechanization nearly impossible, and the estate follows a minimal-intervention approach in both vineyard and cellar. This careful, low-intervention style allows the character of the sites and the old vines to shine through with clarity.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Riesling is a versatile companion for spicy Asian dishes, roast pork, grilled poultry, sushi, and fresh seafood, as well as dishes with a touch of sweetness or heat. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C to highlight its aromatics and crisp structure. Decanting is not necessary, but a brief period in the glass will help the wine open up and reveal its full complexity.

Weingut Lenhardt is a young but already highly regarded estate led by siblings Christian and Eva Lenhardt, who revived their family property and released their first vintage in 2017. The winery’s story is rooted in generations of Mosel viticulture, but the siblings brought back knowledge gained from time spent in Bordeaux, Portugal, and New Zealand, giving the estate a modern edge while staying true to the region. Their wines have quickly attracted attention from critics and wine lovers alike, marking Lenhardt as one of the most promising producers in contemporary Mosel.
