Adelina Estate Grenache 2022 is a beautifully lifted expression of pure Grenache from South Australia, showing just how elegant and energetic this variety can be in the right hands. Sourced from organically grown fruit from 80-year-old vines in Clare Valley, it combines concentration with remarkable freshness, making it both immediately appealing and highly cellar-worthy.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows a vibrant, polished ruby-red color. The nose is wonderfully aromatic and layered, offering strawberries, raspberries, red cherries, a hint of fennel, Earl Grey tea, and orange peel. The palate is classic yet contemporary, with supple fruit, fine structure, and a sense of lightness that keeps everything in balance. Despite its generous mouthfeel, the wine feels exceptionally elegant and energetic, finishing long and refined. It already drinks beautifully, but it also has excellent aging potential and should develop even more complexity over time.

Viininvalmistus
The fruit comes from Adelina’s own organically farmed vineyard in Clare Valley, South Australia, where 80-year-old Grenache vines benefit from a terroir suited to producing concentrated yet balanced wines. All grapes were destemmed before pressing, and the wine matured for 11 months in large neutral oak casks, allowing the fruit and site to shine without overt oak influence.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Grenache is a versatile partner at the table, pairing especially well with roasted duck, lamb, grilled Mediterranean vegetables, charcuterie, and dishes with subtle spice or herb-driven sauces. Serve it slightly below room temperature, ideally around 15–17°C, and there is no need to decant unless you want to open it up a little more in its youth.
