Crafted in the traditional Amarone method, it stands out for its disciplined vineyard selection, long appassimento drying period, and ageing in large oak casks that preserve the wine’s expressive character.

In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby to garnet hue, hinting at its concentration and structure. The nose is generous and layered, with aromas of dark cherries, dried figs, plum, spice, cocoa, and a subtle balsamic lift. On the palate, Amarone Classico is full-bodied and velvety, with impressive depth, ripe dark fruit, and a firm backbone of tannin and freshness. The long drying of the grapes adds complexity and a gently raisined richness without losing balance, making it a wine with strong ageing potential over many years.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes for this Amarone Classico are selected from the best-exposed vineyard parcels, with strict sorting to remove damaged clusters and fruit that does not meet the estate’s quality standards. After harvest, the grapes undergo around 120 days of drying before vinification, a crucial step that concentrates flavour, sugar, and structure. Fermentation is designed to extract the noble elements from the skins, and the wine is then aged for three years in large wooden vessels to maintain its traditional Amarone profile. While the exact soil composition is not specified, the Classico designation points to the historic heartland of Valpolicella.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs beautifully with rich dishes such as braised beef, game, roasted lamb, aged hard cheeses, and slow-cooked stews. It also works well alongside mushroom-based dishes and hearty pasta with meat ragù. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours to allow the aromas and texture to open fully.
