Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows a deep, radiant golden colour that immediately signals richness and intensity. The nose is abundant and complex, with inviting aromas of honey, roasted almonds, and ripe pineapple, unfolding into a lavish bouquet that feels both polished and expressive. On the palate, layers of mango, papaya, and fresh mandarin emerge over a full, silky texture. The sweetness is refined rather than heavy, supported by a lively acidity that keeps the wine elegant and vibrant. The finish is long and persistent, with lingering notes of honeyed, sun-ripened fruit. Viininvalmistus
Château Rieussec is located in the Sauternes appellation of Bordeaux, where morning mists and warm afternoons create ideal conditions for noble rot, allowing the grapes to achieve exceptional sweetness and complexity. The blend is based on Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, harvested carefully by hand in multiple selective passes to pick only the perfectly botrytised berries. Vinification is carried out with great precision to preserve purity, texture, and the estate’s signature balance between richness and freshness.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Best enjoyed with delicate desserts such as tarte Tatin, crème brûlée, fruit tarts, or dishes featuring apricot, peach, or tropical fruit. It also pairs beautifully with blue cheese or foie gras for a more classic Sauternes experience. Serve well chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is generally not necessary unless desired for very brief aeration.
