Dominio de Pingus Flor de Pingus 2011 is a highly regarded cellar release, sourced directly from the producer to ensure exceptional freshness and quality. Made from Tempranillo grown in select parcels in La Horra, Ribera del Duero, it captures the intensity of a warm vintage while preserving the elegance and balance that have made this wine so sought after.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, Flor de Pingus 2011 shows a deep, nearly opaque ruby-red colour. The nose is expressive and layered, with ripe cherries, dark berries, sweet spice, and subtle earthy notes reminiscent of forest floor and dried herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied and richly textured, offering concentrated dark fruit, plum, liquorice, and warming spice wrapped around silky yet firm tannins. The wine finishes long and polished, with impressive depth and a lingering sense of ripe fruit and oak spice. While already expressive, it has the structure and concentration to continue developing gracefully over time, gaining further nuance and complexity with age.

Viininvalmistus
Flor de Pingus 2011 comes from several parcels in La Horra, in the heart of Ribera del Duero, where varied soils and old vines contribute to both complexity and finesse. The warm growing season delivered ripe, concentrated fruit, while the vineyards’ naturally low yields helped intensify flavour and structure. Each parcel was fermented separately in stainless steel before the wine spent around 18 months ageing in used French oak barrels, allowing the fruit to remain the focus while adding gentle spice and texture.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is an excellent match for grilled lamb, roast beef, braised short ribs, game, or rich dishes with mushrooms and Mediterranean herbs. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours to open up the aromas and soften the tannins, especially if drinking relatively young.
