Dominio de Pingus PSI 2023

Dominio de Pingus PSI 2023 is a refined and expressive Ribera del Duero red that shows the elegance and precision for which the region’s best Tempranillo-based wines are known. Made primarily from Tempranillo with a small amount of Garnacha, it combines old-vine intensity, freshness, and a distinctly terroir-driven character.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, PSI 2023 shows a deep ruby-red color. The nose is vibrant and layered, with aromas of dark berries, cherry, violet, licorice, and a subtle touch of spice. On the palate, the wine is concentrated yet finely balanced, with fresh acidity, polished tannins, and a long, mineral-tinged finish. The cool, dry 2023 growing season has brought extra aromatic precision and energy, giving the wine both immediate appeal and the structure to develop further with age. It can be enjoyed young with a little aeration, but it also has good aging potential.

Viininvalmistus
PSI comes from high-altitude vineyards in Ribera del Duero, where old vines are farmed under sustainable principles and benefit from a terroir that naturally supports freshness and concentration. The grapes are harvested from carefully selected parcels, and the wine is fermented in large cement tanks to preserve purity and structure. It is then matured for 14 to 18 months in used oak barrels and large foudres, a élevage that adds texture without overpowering the fruit.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a versatile food wine that pairs especially well with grilled lamb, roast pork, duck, mushroom dishes, and aged Manchego or other mature hard cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C. Decanting for 30 to 60 minutes is recommended if opened young, as it helps soften the tannins and раскрыe the aromatics.
