The wine comes from Irpinia in Campania, a high-altitude area shaped by strong rainfall, snowfall, wind, and volcanic soils, making it one of the most characterful and surprising parts of southern Italy. The project was created to highlight the potential of Campania’s native varieties in Metodo Classico, and the approach was developed in collaboration with champagne expert Anselme Selosse, who recognized the remarkable freshness and minerality of Greco and Aglianico for sparkling winemaking. DUBL is also strongly rooted in design and creativity, with bottles created by leading Italian designers, and the brand has since become the first Italian Metodo Classico to receive both B Corp and Equalitas certification in June 2022.

DUBL is a project from Feudi San Gregorio, developed in Irpinia with the ambition of expressing Campania’s indigenous grapes in a new and refined sparkling style. Since its beginnings over 20 years ago, it has positioned itself as a creative, forward-looking expression of the region, combining wine expertise with Italian design and a pioneering spirit. In 2022, it marked an important milestone by becoming the first Italian Metodo Classico to earn both B Corp and Equalitas certification, underlining its commitment to quality and sustainability.
