Matured for 15 years, it showcases The Macallan’s signature sherry-seasoned style with a rounder, softer profile and a distinctly elegant depth.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it offers a warm golden amber hue. The nose is inviting and layered, with notes of dried fruits, toffee, vanilla, baked apple, gentle oak spice, and a subtle lift of citrus and ginger. On the palate, it is smooth and full-bodied, with flavours of raisin, honey, butterscotch, sweet oak, cinnamon, and soft nutmeg unfolding in a long, refined finish. The balance between sweetness and spice gives it impressive structure and sophistication, with strong cellaring potential in the sense of continued complexity in the bottle over time, though it is already beautifully composed and ready to enjoy now.

Viininvalmistus
The Macallan is crafted in Speyside, where the cool Scottish climate and carefully managed maturation conditions support slow, even aging. The Double Cask expression is matured in a combination of American oak and European oak sherry-seasoned casks, with each wood type contributing its own character: American oak adds vanilla and citrus sweetness, while European oak brings richer spice and dried-fruit depth. The whisky is distilled using traditional methods and matured with meticulous attention to cask selection and blending.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Best enjoyed neat, with a drop of water, or over a large ice cube to open up its aromatic layers. It pairs exceptionally well with dark chocolate, crème brûlée, toasted nuts, rich fruit desserts, or a fine cigar. Serve at room temperature, and decanting is not necessary.
