Its long history is part of the appeal too, with the vineyard already documented in a 1700s land registry belonging to the Counts of Castelborgo.

Makuprofiili
This 2022 Barbaresco typically shows a bright garnet colour with the translucent depth characteristic of Nebbiolo. On the nose, expect lifted aromas of red cherry, wild berries, rose petal, spice, and subtle earthy notes, with the cru site often adding extra finesse and complexity. The palate is likely to be elegant and finely structured, combining firm yet polished tannins with vibrant acidity and a savoury, mineral edge. It should offer excellent aging potential, gaining greater harmony and nuance over time as the fruit softens and the tertiary notes begin to emerge.
