Colterenzio Chardonnay Lafoa 2024 is a refined Alto Adige white wine that combines ripe fruit, elegant oak influence, and the crisp mountain freshness that makes wines from this region so distinctive. Crafted from 100% Chardonnay, it reflects both precision and richness, with a style shaped by the cooperative spirit of Colterenzio, founded in 1960 by 26 passionate winegrowers.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a deep straw-yellow color that signals both ripeness and texture. The nose is expressive and layered, with fruit-driven notes of mango and melon supported by a subtle hint of walnut and a gentle touch of oak. On the palate, the wine is full and harmonious, with generous acidity that brings balance to its creamy, delicate barrel nuance. The finish is long and juicy, leaving a polished impression that suggests good aging potential over the next few years, where its complexity may continue to develop.

Viininvalmistus
Produced in Alto Adige DOC in Trentino-Alto Adige, this Chardonnay comes from a cool alpine terroir where warm days and fresh nights help preserve aromatic lift and natural acidity. The grapes are harvested from carefully tended vineyard sites and vinified with a focus on preserving fruit expression while adding subtle depth through oak aging, resulting in a wine that balances freshness, structure, and finesse.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with rich seafood, roasted poultry, creamy pasta dishes, and fine white meats, as well as mushroom-based dishes that echo its subtle nutty character. Serve it slightly chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and decanting is generally not necessary, though a short time in the glass can help the aromas open fully.
