Doro Princic Collio Friulano 2024

Doro Princic Collio Friulano is a beautifully expressive white wine from one of Friuli’s most respected terroirs, offering a clear sense of place and varietal character. Made from 100% Friulano, it combines aromatic complexity, a refined mineral edge, and the grape’s signature almond note, while reflecting the family tradition and regional identity behind the wine.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a straw-yellow colour with golden reflections, hinting at both ripeness and elegance. The nose is layered and inviting, with aromas of aromatic herbs, eucalyptus, liquorice, and mint, followed by the subtle almond note so typical of Friulano. On the palate, this is a dry white with warmth and a pleasing softness that supports, rather than masks, its lively freshness. The finish is quite intense and persistent, making it a wine that can be enjoyed now for its vibrant expression, while also having the structure to hold up well over the short to medium term.

Viininvalmistus
Produced in Collio DOC in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, this wine comes from a region known for its hillside vineyards, mineral-rich soils, and the balanced influence of Alpine and Adriatic climates. The grapes are harvested from 100% Friulano vines and vinified to preserve the grape’s aromatic finesse, freshness, and textural generosity, resulting in a wine that captures both concentration and lift.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Ideal with cured meats, prosciutto, stuffed pasta, risottos, grilled fish, and delicate poultry dishes, as well as aged cheeses where its almond-driven finish can really shine. Serve chilled at around 10–12°C; decanting is not necessary, though a few minutes in the glass will help the aromas open beautifully.
