Le Salette Amarone della Valpolicella Classico La Marega 2019 is a deeply expressive Amarone from the hills of Fumane, crafted to capture both the elegance of the fruit and the power of traditional appassimento. Made from Rondinella, Corvina, and Corvinone, it delivers the classic richness and complexity expected from Amarone, with a refined, polished style that reflects Le Salette’s attention to detail and respect for Valpolicella heritage.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Amarone shows a deep, intense ruby-garnet hue. The nose is layered and captivating, with aromas of leather, resin, prunes, raisins, tobacco, and a subtle touch of liquorice, gradually opening to darker fruit nuances. The palate is elegant and silky, with black cherry coulis, dried blueberries, and finely integrated tannins. Notes of dried rosemary and sage bring a savoury lift to the long, persistent finish. While already highly enjoyable for its balance and finesse, this wine also has the structure and concentration to age beautifully over time.

Viininvalmistus
Produced in the Classico zone of Valpolicella, in the hillside area of Fumane, this wine draws its character from a terroir well suited to premium Amarone production. The grapes are carefully selected and traditionally dried to concentrate flavour and complexity before fermentation, a process that intensifies both the aromatic profile and the wine’s natural richness. Vinification follows the classic Amarone method, resulting in a powerful but graceful wine with notable depth and length.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Amarone pairs beautifully with rich dishes such as braised beef, game, venison, aged cheeses, and hearty mushroom-based preparations. It also works well alongside dark chocolate desserts or simply as a contemplative wine on its own. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for at least an hour before drinking to allow the aromas and structure to fully unfold.
