Monte Rossa Franciacorta Sanseve Satèn Brut is a refined expression of one of Italy’s most elegant sparkling wine styles. Made exclusively from Chardonnay and crafted in the distinctive Satèn category, it offers a softer, silkier mousse and a beautifully polished profile that sets it apart within Franciacorta’s historic tradition of metodo classico sparkling wines.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it typically shows a bright straw-yellow color with fine, persistent bubbles and a delicately creamy foam. The nose leans toward fresh citrus, white flowers, ripe orchard fruit, and subtle brioche or almond notes, reflecting both the purity of Chardonnay and the character of long lees aging. On the palate, Sanseve Satèn Brut is usually smooth, elegant, and layered, with a creamy texture, lively freshness, and a fine balance between fruit and minerality. The Satèn style is known for its softer pressure and more supple mouthfeel, giving the wine a graceful, almost velvety finish. It can be enjoyed young for its vibrancy, but the structure also allows for several years of additional development in bottle.

Viininvalmistus
Franciacorta in Lombardy benefits from cool breezes, glacial soils, and the moderating influence of nearby lakes, creating ideal conditions for elegant sparkling wine production. Satèn is a production protocol exclusive to Franciacorta, made only from white grapes—in this case Chardonnay—and produced with a lower bottle pressure than Brut styles, which contributes to its signature softness. The wine is vinified using the traditional method, with a second fermentation in bottle and extended aging on the lees to build complexity and finesse.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs beautifully with refined appetizers, seafood, shellfish, sushi, delicate risottos, and lightly creamy dishes such as poultry in a mild sauce. It also works well with soft cheeses and elegant finger foods. Serve chilled, ideally around 6–8°C, and while decanting is not recommended, allowing the bottle a few minutes in the glass can help the aromas open fully.
