Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs 2002 is one of the house’s rarest and most iconic cuvées, crafted entirely from Chardonnay and drawn from a single vintage and terroir. It captures over two centuries of Perrier-Jouët expertise in a Champagne defined by finesse, precision, and a distinctly floral signature.

In the glass, it shows a lively golden hue with subtle green reflections and extremely fine bubbles, hinting at its elegance before the first sip. The bouquet is beautifully expressive, unfolding with white flowers such as acacia, hawthorn, lilac, and elderflower, alongside delicate notes of honey, poached pear, pineapple, and a touch of caramelised lemon. On the palate, this is a rich yet vibrant Champagne with excellent freshness and a pronounced, crystalline crispness. The texture is silky and refined, with impressive intensity and a long, elegant finish. Thanks to its structure and depth, it has excellent aging potential and continues to develop complexity over time.

Produced from 100% Chardonnay and aged for six years to build its layered floral profile, this Blanc de Blancs reflects the purity and identity of Perrier-Jouët’s signature grape. The wine is made from fruit grown within the Champagne region, with a focus on expressing both the character of the vintage and the house’s refined style through careful selection and traditional Champagne vinification.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
Serve this Champagne at around 8°C to best highlight its freshness and aromatic precision. It pairs especially well with crab, seafood dishes, mushrooms, and more aromatic combinations such as passion fruit, where its floral notes and bright acidity can shine. Decanting is not recommended; instead, let it open gradually in the glass.
