Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows a deep, opaque ruby color that hints at its concentration. The nose is expansive and luxurious, unfolding with blackberry, crème de cassis, black truffle, licorice, and graphite, all lifted by a polished aromatic intensity. On the palate, it is full-bodied and richly textured, with abundant layered fruit, firm yet velvety tannins, and a long, resonant finish. Cabernet Sauvignon provides the backbone, while Cabernet Franc adds aromatic lift and structure, supported by smaller amounts of Merlot and Petit Verdot. Madrona Ranch is a highly varied vineyard site in Napa Valley, shaped by dramatic changes in elevation, soil, and exposure across the property. The soils include volcanic Aiken soils, white tuff, clay, and rocky ground, creating a demanding but highly expressive terroir. To capture that diversity, the grapes are harvested in many small picks over an extended period, allowing each parcel to reach optimal ripeness before vinification.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a wine built for rich, flavorful dishes such as grilled ribeye, braised short ribs, roasted lamb, or filet mignon with a red wine reduction. It also works beautifully with aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C and consider decanting for at least 1–2 hours, especially if opening younger bottles, to allow the wine’s aromatics and structure to fully раскрывать themselves.
