Abreu Madrona Ranch Proprietary Red 2015 is a flagship wine from one of California’s most acclaimed single vineyards, crafted from a complex blend led by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Sourced from the pioneering Madrona Ranch site, first developed by David Abreu in the 1980s, it is a wine defined by extraordinary site expression, depth, and precision. Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows a deep, насыщенный ruby to almost inky purple hue, hinting at its concentration. The nose is layered and highly perfumed, with blackcurrant, blackberry, ripe plum, crème de cassis, and floral Cabernet Franc notes, followed by subtle accents of licorice, graphite, black truffle, and warm spice. Madrona Ranch is a highly varied vineyard site with steep elevation changes, shifting exposures, and a mosaic of soils that include volcanic Aiken soil, white tuff, clay, and bedrock. This diversity creates naturally uneven ripening conditions, so the fruit is harvested in small lots over an extended period to capture optimal maturity across the vineyard. The result is a wine built from careful selection and blending of multiple cuvées to reflect the full character of the site.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine is an excellent match for prime rib, ribeye steak, braised short ribs, lamb saddle, or richly flavored dishes with mushrooms and truffle. It also pairs beautifully with aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the aromatics and texture to fully open.
