Agnès Gleizes Chablis 2023 is a crisp, characterful white wine that captures the essence of Chablis with freshness, precision, and a distinctive mineral edge. Made from 100% Chardonnay in one of Burgundy’s most celebrated appellations, it offers the classic style Chablis is known for: bright fruit, lively acidity, and a clean, elegant finish. Rooted in a long tradition of cool-climate Chardonnay, this is a wine that speaks clearly of place.

In the glass, it shows a bright straw-yellow hue that immediately suggests vibrancy and freshness. The nose opens with lively citrus aromas of lemon and grapefruit, lifted by delicate white floral notes and a subtle mineral undertone that hints at its Chablis origin. On the palate, the wine is lively and well-balanced, with refreshing acidity carrying flavors of green apple and pear. A discreet saline minerality adds depth and definition to the finish, giving the wine its classic Chablis tension and appeal. Best enjoyed young for its brightness and purity, though it may develop a little extra complexity over the next few years.

Agnès Gleizes Chablis 2023 pairs beautifully with seafood, especially shellfish, oysters, and simply grilled fish, as well as mild cheeses and light poultry dishes. Serve chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, to preserve its freshness and aromatic lift. Decanting is not necessary.
