Angelo Negro Maria Elisa Rosè Metodo Classico Nebbiolo d'Alba Extra Brut 2021 is a fresh, elegant sparkling wine that showcases Nebbiolo in a refined, celebratory style. First produced in 2004 and dedicated to Maria Elisa, the wife of Giovanni Negro, it reflects both family heritage and the finesse that has made Metodo Classico wines from Piedmont so respected.

Makuprofiili
Pale onion skin pink in the glass, it offers a lively, delicate mousse and an inviting, refined appearance. The nose is bright and precise, with notes of wild strawberry, redcurrant, rose petal, citrus peel, and subtle brioche nuances from time on the lees. On the palate, it is crisp and elegant, with fine bubbles, vibrant acidity, and a dry Extra Brut profile that keeps the wine taut and focused. The red berry fruit is lifted by mineral tension and a clean, savoury finish, giving it both charm and structure. While already expressive now, it should also hold well for a few years as it develops greater complexity.

This wine comes from Piedmont, where the Nebbiolo grape can show remarkable purity and precision, especially in sparkling form.
