Antinori Col Solare Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 is a distinctive Washington red born from a collaboration between two respected names in wine: Antinori and Chateau Ste. Michelle. First created in 1995, it reflects a shared ambition to unlock the full potential of Columbia Valley through a wine that combines richness, structure, and a clear sense of place.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Cabernet Sauvignon shows a deep, concentrated color that hints at its intensity. The nose is generous and expressive, with ripe black berry fruit at the forefront, supported by subtle aromatic depth and a mature, polished character. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with dark fruit flavors, firm yet refined tannins, and plenty of natural power. Cabernet Franc adds lift and complexity, while the wine’s balanced shape suggests excellent aging potential, allowing it to evolve gracefully over time.

Viininvalmistus
Col Solare comes from Columbia Valley, where long sunny days and hot summers encourage full ripeness, while cold winters give the vines a proper rest and help preserve varietal character. The predominantly loess soils contribute to the wine’s definition and structure. The wine is crafted with an emphasis on age-worthy balance and a vinification approach designed to produce a stylish, long-lived red.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs beautifully with grilled ribeye, roast lamb, braised short ribs, or hearty dishes with mushrooms and root vegetables. It also works well with aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if drinking young, to let the wine open fully.
