Arianna Occhipinti SP68 Bianco is a characterful Sicilian white that captures the spirit of the island’s ancient grape traditions and the energy of its high, sunlit landscapes. Made from Zibibbo and Albanello, it offers a distinctive expression of place: fragrant, textured, and quietly original, with roots in the rural history of Sicily and the road that once connected farmers, vineyards, and market towns.

Makuprofiili
Pale straw yellow in the glass, this wine typically shows a bright, lively appearance that hints at its freshness. The nose is expressive and Mediterranean, with floral notes, citrus zest, white stone fruit, herbs, and a subtle saline edge that reflects its island происхence. On the palate, SP68 Bianco is vibrant and supple, combining ripe citrus and orchard fruit with aromatic lift and a refreshing mineral line. Zibibbo brings perfume and warmth, while Albanello adds structure and tension, creating a wine that feels both generous and precise. Best enjoyed young for its freshness and aromatic intensity, though it can develop extra nuance over a short period of cellaring.

Viininvalmistus
The grapes come from Sicily’s southeastern Iblei area, where vineyards are shaped by a warm Mediterranean climate, limestone-rich soils, and cooling breezes that help preserve acidity and aromatic clarity. Harvest is typically carried out by hand to select healthy fruit at optimal ripeness. Vinification is kept gentle and low-intervention, allowing the native varieties to express their natural personality and the vineyard’s sense of place.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a versatile white that works beautifully with grilled fish, shellfish, seafood pasta, roasted vegetables, fresh cheeses, and dishes with herbs or citrus. Serve chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, to keep the aromatics bright and the palate crisp. Decanting is generally not necessary, though a brief splash in the glass can help the wine open up.

Arianna Occhipinti is one of Sicily’s most respected contemporary winemakers, known for championing indigenous grapes and a more transparent, terroir-driven style of winemaking.
