Armand Rousseau’s Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru 2007 is a beautiful expression of finesse, perfume, and Burgundian precision. On the palate, the wine is silky and delicate, with fresh acidity and finely integrated tannins that lend structure without weight. Rather than power, it offers balance, detail, and length, moving from bright red fruit to savoury, earthy nuances. The 2007 vintage is already approachable and expressive, yet it still has enough depth and structure to continue developing gracefully for several more years.

This is a natural partner for elegant dishes such as roast duck, pigeon, veal, truffle risotto, mushroom dishes, or game birds served with subtle sauces. It will also shine alongside aged hard cheeses or a classic coq au vin. Serve at around 16-18°C, and consider decanting for about 30-60 minutes if the bottle is still showing youthful restraint, though older bottles should be handled more gently.
