Sourced from a cool, limestone-rich site in the northern part of Gevrey-Chambertin, it is prized for its precision, freshness, and unmistakable sense of terroir. The 2011 vintage brings an appealing balance of elegance and structure, making this a wine of both immediate charm and serious cellar appeal.

In the glass, the wine shows a clear ruby-red colour, promising brightness and finesse rather than weight. The nose is lifted and expressive, with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, subtle spice, forest floor, and a gentle floral edge that adds complexity and grace. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with supple tannins and lively acidity, giving the wine energy and definition. The red fruit core is framed by fine mineral notes and understated spice, leading to a long, elegant finish. While approachable now, it has the structure and balance to evolve beautifully with age, developing more savoury notes such as leather, truffle, and undergrowth over time.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine pairs beautifully with dishes that complement its delicate structure and aromatic depth, such as roasted duck, quail, veal, mushroom risotto, or earthy dishes with truffles. It is best served slightly below room temperature, around 15–17°C. Decanting for about 30 to 60 minutes is recommended if drinking young, allowing the aromatics to open and the texture to soften.
