In the glass, the wine shows a deep, inviting ruby hue that hints at its generosity. The nose opens with ripe red berries, woodland earth, and subtle spice, all lifted by the kind of purity and detail that defines great Pinot Noir from Burgundy. On the palate, the 2018 vintage brings a fuller, fruit-forward expression, yet the wine remains impeccably balanced and elegant. Layered and nuanced, it unfolds gradually with silky tannins, fresh energy, and a long, persistent finish. While already expressive, this Grand Cru has the structure and complexity to age beautifully for many years, gaining further savoury depth with time.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This wine is an excellent match for dishes with depth and finesse, such as duck breast, roast quail, beef tenderloin, mushroom risotto, or game birds. Serve at around 16–18°C to allow the aromatics and texture to show at their best. Decanting for about 30–60 minutes is recommended if drinking young, though older bottles should be handled more gently and opened with minimal aeration.
