Blind, it could easily be mistaken for Burgundy, thanks to its lifted profile, refined structure, and beautifully restrained power. Made from carefully farmed fruit in one of California’s most expressive vineyards, it shows just how versatile and compelling the region can be.

In the glass, this Pinot Noir leans toward a darker, more serious style rather than bright, fruit-driven exuberance. The nose opens with dark cherries, plums, lavender, leather, and spice, building a layered and aromatic profile that feels both vibrant and polished. On the palate, the wine follows through on those same darker tones, offering depth, elegance, and a beautifully composed structure. It has the energy and balance to age well over the coming years, with the potential to gain even more nuance and complexity as it develops.

Heaven and Earth Vineyard is set on a beautiful hillside in California, where the cooler exposure and meticulous vineyard work help shape a Pinot Noir with precision and refinement. Arnot-Roberts uses whole-cluster pressing, allowing the fruit to ferment with added complexity and structure, before the wine spends 18 months maturing in neutral French oak barrels. This gentle élevage lets the vineyard character remain front and center.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Pinot Noir is a natural match for dishes that echo its elegance and depth, such as roast duck, mushroom risotto, grilled salmon, or herb-roasted chicken. Serve it slightly cool, around 14–16°C, to highlight its freshness and aromatic detail. Decanting is not essential, but a short decant can help open the wine if enjoyed young.
