Arterberry Maresh Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2021 is a beautifully expressive Oregon Pinot Noir from some of the oldest vines in the state, and among the oldest in the U.S. Jim Maresh is known for a hands-off, organic approach that lets the vineyard speak for itself, while keeping new oak to a minimum so the fruit and terroir remain front and center. The result is a wine that captures the elegance, finesse, and distinctive character that have made Dundee Hills one of Oregon’s most celebrated Pinot Noir regions.

In the glass, this wine shows a light ruby-red color, hinting at its lifted and refined style. The nose is vivid and layered, with aromas of cranberry, warm cinnamon, fresh cherry tart, black tea, and a touch of rose oil. On the palate, it delivers bright cranberry, raspberry, and cherry flavors, woven together with Asian spice and subtle earthy, stony nuances that reflect its Dundee Hills origins. Silky and finely detailed, it has the balance and structure to age gracefully for several years, gaining complexity and depth over time.

Viininvalmistus
Produced in the Dundee Hills of Oregon, this Pinot Noir comes from old vines rooted in one of the region’s most distinctive volcanic-soil terroirs. Jim Maresh farms organically and works with minimal intervention, allowing the vineyard site to shine naturally in the finished wine. New French oak is used very sparingly, at around 5-10%, so the vinification emphasizes purity of fruit, site expression, and an elegant, transparent style.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roast duck, grilled salmon, mushroom dishes, pork tenderloin, and herb-roasted chicken, as well as dishes featuring earthy root vegetables. Serve slightly chilled, ideally around 14-16°C, and decanting is optional but can help the wine open up if enjoyed young.
