Arterberry Maresh Weber Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021 is a beautifully restrained Oregon Pinot Noir that showcases the elegance and precision of the Weber Vineyard site. Sourced from vines planted in 1983 and crafted with a light hand, it offers a pure, nuanced expression of Pinot Noir shaped by Pommard clones, east-facing exposure, and a winemaking style that lets the fruit speak for itself.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Pinot Noir shows a graceful, translucent ruby hue typical of fine Oregon Pinot. The nose opens with sweet cherries, raspberries, wild strawberries, forest floor, and delicate floral notes, giving way to a lifted, aromatic profile that feels both vivid and refined. On the palate, blackberry, cranberry, raspberry, plum, and cherry liqueur come together with a subtle hint of almond essence and a touch of smoke. The wine is notably elegant, with a silky texture and a long, polished finish. While already highly expressive, it should continue to develop added complexity over the next several years if properly cellared.

Viininvalmistus
The fruit comes from Weber Vineyard, a site planted in 1983 and oriented eastward, which gives it a slightly different sunlight exposure than many neighboring vineyards and helps create its distinctive, elegant character. The grapes are hand-harvested, and the wine is made with minimal intervention to preserve the vineyard’s natural expression. Aging takes place for 16 months in French oak, with only 5-10% new barrels, allowing the fruit and site character to remain front and center.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Pinot Noir pairs especially well with duck breast, roast chicken, pork tenderloin, mushroom dishes, and salmon, as well as earthy vegetarian plates featuring truffle, lentils, or wild mushrooms. Serve it slightly cool, around 14-16°C, and decanting is optional but can help the wine open up if enjoyed young.
