Begali Lorenzo Valpolicella Classico 2023 is a fresh, light and highly charming red from one of Veneto’s standout producers. Crafted in the classic Valpolicella style from Corvina and Rondinella, it captures the region’s easy-going elegance and food-friendly character, while its brief aging in steel keeps the fruit bright and expressive.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a pale to medium ruby hue, inviting and youthful in appearance. The nose opens with vivid cherry, sweet licorice and warm southern Italian spice, giving it a distinctly Mediterranean feel. The palate is fresh and supple, echoing those same cherry-led notes with a lively, clean finish. Its light body and bright fruit make it immediately enjoyable, though it is really at its best young, when the fragrance and freshness are most vivid.

Viininvalmistus
This Valpolicella Classico is rooted in the heart of Veneto, where the blend is built mainly on Corvina and Rondinella, with a small share of local varieties to complete the traditional profile. The grapes are harvested by hand to preserve fruit quality, and the wine is then aged for three months in stainless steel tanks to emphasize freshness, purity and varietal character rather than oak influence.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
A natural partner for simple Italian dishes, especially pasta with tomato-based sauces, light meat ragù, roasted vegetables or charcuterie. Serve slightly chilled, around 14–16°C, and no decanting is necessary.
