Makuprofiili
In the glass, Cumberland Reserve shows a bright, luminous ruby-red color that immediately signals its elegance and freshness. The nose opens with lifted aromas of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, layered with baking spice, dried herbs, and a subtle forest-floor earthiness that gives the wine its distinctly Oregon identity. On the palate, the wine is juicy and supple, with red berry fruit at the core, fine tannins, and lively acidity keeping everything focused and balanced. Hints of oak add quiet complexity without overshadowing the purity of fruit. While approachable now, it has the structure and energy to develop gracefully over the next 5–7 years.

Viininvalmistus
Cumberland Reserve is sourced primarily from Selice and Le Pre du Col, with smaller contributions from Bergström Vineyard, Winery Block, and Gregory Ranch Vineyard. These sites in the Willamette Valley bring together biodynamically farmed fruit and the region’s cool-climate terroir, resulting in a blend that balances ripe red fruit, spice, and earthy nuance. The wine is assembled to express both the vintage and the classic Bergström house style, with careful vinification aimed at preserving freshness, texture, and site character.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Pinot Noir is a natural match for grilled salmon, duck breast, mushroom risotto, and lightly spiced poultry dishes. It also pairs well with soft cheeses such as Brie and Camembert. Serve slightly chilled, ideally around 14–16°C, and consider decanting for 20–30 minutes if opening in its youth to allow the aromatics to fully unfold.
