Bollinger La Grande Année Brut Champagne 2007

Bollinger La Grande Année Brut Champagne 2007 is a prestige cuvée made only in exceptional vintages, showcasing the house’s signature depth, precision, and Pinot Noir-driven power. Crafted from 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay across 14 crus, and aged extensively in oak before long cellar maturation, it offers a remarkable balance of richness, structure, and finesse.

Makuprofiili
In the glass, it shows a white-golden color with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is highly expressive and layered, with ripe apricot, pink grapefruit, chalk, toasted notes, and hints of almond and nougat. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet beautifully refined, combining concentration with clarity and freshness. The texture is elegant and precise, leading to a long, dry finish marked by saline minerality, citrus lift, and cleansing tension. While already impressive, it still has plenty of room to evolve, with an aging potential of well over a decade.

Viininvalmistus
La Grande Année 2007 is sourced from 14 crus, with Pinot Noir mainly coming from Aÿ and Verzenay, and Chardonnay from Avize, Cramant, and Oger in the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs. The grapes are harvested by hand, and all fermentation is carried out in small oak barrels, many of them aged, to build complexity without overpowering the fruit. The wine is then aged under natural cork for more than eight years before disgorgement, giving it added depth and an exceptionally fine mousse.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Champagne pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as lobster, scallops, turbot, roast chicken, truffle risotto, or aged Comté and Parmesan. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C. Decanting is generally not necessary, though allowing it a little time in the glass will help раскры its full aromatic complexity.
