Bollinger La Grande Année 2009 James Bond 007 Jeroboam is a limited-edition prestige Champagne created to celebrate Bollinger’s 14th appearance in a James Bond film. Made exclusively from Grand Cru fruit, it combines 68% Pinot Noir and 32% Chardonnay in a striking jeroboam format, presented in a black gift box designed to keep the wine cool for up to two hours. It is a collector-worthy release that brings together Bollinger’s signature depth, refinement, and cinematic heritage.

In the glass, this Champagne shows a brilliant golden hue with a persistent stream of fine bubbles, reflecting both its quality and maturity. The nose is layered and expressive, with aromas of ripe orchard fruit, citrus peel, toasted nuts, brioche, and subtle spice, all carried by Bollinger’s hallmark richness. The palate is full-bodied and complex, with Pinot Noir providing structure, drive, and depth, while Chardonnay adds freshness and precision. Expect notes of baked apple, lemon confit, hazelnut, and a savoury mineral edge, finishing long and elegant. This vintage has excellent aging potential and should continue to develop greater complexity over time.

La Grande Année 2009 is crafted entirely from Grand Cru vineyards in Champagne, selected for their exceptional quality and expression of terroir. The blend is dominated by Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims, giving power and character, while Chardonnay contributes finesse and balance. Bollinger’s traditional winemaking approach emphasizes careful harvesting and meticulous cellar work to preserve the individuality of the vintage. Ruoka & tarjoilu
This prestige Champagne pairs beautifully with lobster, scallops, roast poultry, truffled dishes, or refined seafood preparations such as turbot or sole. Its richness also makes it a wonderful match for aged Comté or Parmesan. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and while it is ready to enjoy now, a short decant is not recommended for Champagne; simply allow it a few minutes in the glass to open up, especially in the jeroboam format.
