Built around carefully selected base wines, reserve wine from Louis Roederer’s Réserve Perpétuelle, and partial oak fermentation, it offers both precision and complexity in a generously sized magnum format. The Collection range marks an important evolution for the house, highlighting sustainability and terroir while staying true to Louis Roederer’s long-standing style.
Makuprofiili
In the glass, this Champagne shows a brilliant golden hue with a fine, persistent stream of bubbles. The nose opens with bright citrus, ripe pear, and white flowers, followed by subtle notes of toasted almond and gentle spice.
The palate is elegant and layered, balancing crisp freshness with a rounded, generous texture. Mineral tension gives structure, while the long, silky finish adds finesse and depth. Thanks to its balance and reserve-wine complexity, it has the potential to age gracefully over the coming years, developing even more nuance and richness.
Viininvalmistus
Collection 241 is crafted from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier, with reserve wines drawn from Louis Roederer’s Réserve Perpétuelle and selected oak barrels. A portion of the wine is fermented in oak to add subtle complexity and texture, while the house’s careful vineyard management supports a more sustainable expression of Champagne terroir. After the second fermentation in bottle, the wine matures in the cellars for at least four years before release, allowing the mousse to soften and the flavours to integrate beautifully.
Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Champagne is an excellent aperitif, but it also shines alongside seafood, shellfish, poultry, and mild cheeses. Serve well chilled, ideally at 8–10°C, to preserve its freshness and fine mousse. Decanting is not recommended; instead, open just before serving to enjoy its vibrant aromatics and delicate effervescence at their best.
