Château Cantenac Brown was established in the early 1900s by the Scottish painter John Lewis Brown, who gave the château its distinctive Tudor-style appearance. The property has changed hands several times over the decades, including ownership by Rémy Martin and Axa, before being acquired by the Halabi family in 2006. Since then, significant investment and the work of winemaker Jose Sanfins have markedly elevated the estate’s quality and reputation.
