Makuprofiili
The wine pours a deep, dark hue, hinting at its concentration before the first sip. On the nose, it opens with intense aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and black cherry, layered with cedar, liquorice, spice, a touch of mocha, and graphite, delivering the unmistakable Pauillac signature. The palate is full-bodied and creamy, yet firmly framed by fine, ripe tannins that give the wine its composure and length. Dark fruit remains at the core, supported by mineral tension, graphite-like freshness, and subtle smoky spice through the finish. It already shows impressive charm, but it also has the structure and balance to develop beautifully with further aging.

Viininvalmistus
Sourced from the gravelly terroirs of Pauillac on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, Château Grand-Puy Ducasse benefits from soils that naturally favor Cabernet Sauvignon, helping the wine achieve its characteristic structure and aromatic depth. The 2015 growing season delivered ripe, healthy fruit, and careful harvesting would have been essential to preserve freshness and precision. Vinification is aimed at capturing both concentration and elegance, with maturation in oak contributing notes of cedar, spice, and mocha while polishing the tannins.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This Pauillac pairs beautifully with roast lamb, ribeye steak, duck breast, game, and rich mushroom dishes, as well as aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C for the best expression of its fruit and structure. Decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended if opening now, especially to allow the tannins and aromatic layers to fully unfold.
