The palate is round, opulent, and elegant, with a pure core of ripe dark fruit wrapped in supple tannins and a polished texture. Now at a graceful stage of development, it is fully enjoyable today, yet still has the structure to continue aging beautifully for several more years, especially in magnum format.

This Pomerol is an excellent match for roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, mushroom dishes, or truffled poultry, as well as aged hard cheeses. Serve it at 16–18°C and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if opening now, though older bottles in magnum may only need a gentle aeration.
