Praised by Robert Parker as one of the finest Ormes de Pez wines in decades, it combines generous Cabernet Franc-driven fruit with a refined, earthy complexity and a remarkably polished texture.

In the glass, this wine is opaque and deep purple, hinting at its concentration and depth. The nose opens with pure crème de cassis, layered with subtle notes of charcoal, smoke, and crushed stones, giving it both richness and a distinctly mineral edge. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, showing ripe black fruit, freshness, and a soft, layered mouthfeel that makes the wine feel both powerful and approachable. The finish is long and harmonious, with enough structure to support further aging, and it should continue to drink beautifully over the next 10–15 years from its peak.
