Château Talbot 2015

In the glass, Château Talbot 2015 shows a deep, polished ruby-garnet color that hints at both ripeness and refinement. The nose is classic Bordeaux through and through, with blackcurrant, cherry, cedar, graphite, violets, and a subtle frame of herbs, tobacco, and light vanilla from oak aging. On the palate, it is round and inviting, with a supple core of dark fruit supported by fine, firm tannins and a bright, juicy acidity that keeps everything lifted and energetic. The finish is elegant and layered, leaving impressions of spice, dried herbs, and mineral nuances. While already enjoyable now, it has the structure and balance to develop gracefully over the next 10–15 years.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is an excellent match for roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, game birds, or dishes with earthy elements such as mushrooms and truffle. It also works beautifully with hard cheeses like Comté or aged Gouda. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for about 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the wine’s aromatics and structure to open fully.
