Makuprofiili
In the glass, the wine shows impressive concentration and dark intensity, while still feeling refined and poised. The nose opens with layers of blackcurrant, blackberry, and kirsch, lifted by floral notes of violet and iris, along with a cool mineral thread that speaks to its Saint-Émilion terroir. The palate is seamless and commanding, balancing ripe dark fruit with chalky tannins, red stone fruit, subtle leather tones, and a faint saline edge. It finishes long and persistent, with a sense of energy that promises excellent ageing potential. This is a wine built for the cellar and is expected to evolve beautifully over at least 8–10 years, with a drinking window that can extend well beyond that.

Best enjoyed with refined, flavourful dishes such as roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, game birds, or truffle-infused dishes. It also pairs beautifully with aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for several hours if drinking young to allow the wine to fully open and soften.
