In the glass, it shows a dense ruby-purple color that hints at its depth and concentration. The nose is layered and expressive, with floral notes, crème de cassis, graphite, forest floor, and accents of smoky cardamom, cinnamon, and licorice. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet remarkably elegant, unfolding with plum, blackberry, blackcurrant, prune, anise, vanilla, dark chocolate, and a subtle touch of green pepper. The oak is beautifully integrated, adding structure without overwhelming the fruit, and the finish is long, pure, and refined. Drink now for its richness and vibrancy, or cellar confidently for 10 to 20 years.

This wine comes from the exceptional Stags Leap District in Napa Valley, sourcing fruit from Poetry Vineyard, Twin Peaks Vineyard, and neighboring sites known for their distinctive terroir and ability to produce Cabernet Sauvignon with both intensity and elegance. The blend is composed of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 4% Malbec, and 2% Merlot. It was aged for 21 months in French oak barrels, 75% of which were new, giving the wine its polished texture, subtle spice, and firm but graceful structure.

Ruoka & tarjoilu
This is a superb match for grilled ribeye, roast lamb, braised short ribs, venison, or classic beef Wellington. It also pairs beautifully with aged hard cheeses and rich mushroom dishes. Serve at 16–18°C for the best expression, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if opening it young, especially from a magnum, to allow the aromatics and texture to fully open.
